Can I Fly was painted with my left hand — my non-dominant hand — during a period of recovery from an injury to my right. I embraced the challenge of creating the entire work this way, from beginning to end.
The duality of the two birds reflects both my determination and my struggle to bring the piece to completion, while ultimately surrendering to intuition.
